Carer Ticket Policy

At Quex Adventure Farm Park, we are committed to providing an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment for all our visitors.

General Park Entry

All children visiting the park must be accompanied by a responsible paying adult, regardless of whether the child has additional needs. For this reason, we do not offer free carer tickets for children on standard park entry days.

However, if an adult visitor requires a professional carer to access the park, we can provide one free carer ticket for standard park entry under the following conditions:

  • Scope: Applies strictly to Park Entry only. Free carer tickets do not apply to paid animal experiences or add-on activities (e.g., Highland Cow Experience, Piglet Experiences, Goat Walking, Gel Battle Royale). Anyone entering an animal experience session must hold a full-price experience ticket.

  • Eligible Carers: Reserved for professional carers accompanying an adult visitor who cannot access the park without support. We are unable to offer free carer entry to young carers or child carers due to safety and supervision guidelines.

  • How to Book: Please book all necessary tickets for your party except for the carer. Once purchased, email your booking reference along with your required documentation to info@quexactivitycentre.com. Our team will verify your documents and add the free carer ticket to your booking on our backend system. (Please do not purchase a ticket for the carer, as we are unable to issue refunds for tickets bought in error.)

Large Seasonal Events

(e.g., Halloween Fest, The Elf Express, Torchlight Nights)

For our major seasonal events, ticket prices reflect specialised event programming. For some of these events, we offer a dedicated Carer Ticket:

  • Eligibility: Available for one carer accompanying either a child or an adult with additional needs.

  • Scope: Applies to event admission only (does not include add-on experiences).

  • How to Book: Book the event tickets required for the rest of your party excluding the carer. Email your booking reference and documentation to info@quexactivitycentre.com prior to your day of arrival. Once approved, our team will manually add the carer ticket to your order backend. (Please do not buy a carer ticket online expecting a refund later - all carer passes must be manually added by our team prior to arrival.)

Required Documentation

To process any free carer ticket, we must receive proof for both individuals prior to your visit:

  1. Proof of the visitor’s care needs (e.g., PIP award letter, DLA letter, Access Card, or official medical documentation).

  2. Proof of the carer’s status (e.g., official Carer’s Employment ID/Badge, Carer’s Allowance letter, or payslip showing employment as a carer).

Questions or Support?

If you have any questions about accessibility or need assistance submitting your documents, please reach out to our team at info@quexactivitycentre.com. We are happy to help!
